The kinetics of chain generation for trans-1,2-diphenylethylene (DPE) and trans-1,4-diphenyl-butadiene (DPB) oxidation in solutions of odichlorobenzene (o DCB) and benzonitrile (BN) was studied at a temperature of 363 K. Only bimolecular chain generation reaction was found in a solution of oDCB, while mixed biand trimolecular mechanism was observed in BN medium. Rate constants of bi(k02) and trimolecular (k03) reaction were calculated from the experimental data.
