The design of an exoskeleton system applied for lower limb paralysis

2018
In the use of lower limb paralysis patients, a patented exoskeleton mechanism is designed with four stepping motors distributed in hip and knee joints. The thigh and calf are coupled with a scalable design to facilitate the wearing for different height of people consideration. Based on pressure sensors on the bottom of the foot, a sequence of gait data was acquired. The center of the eight main events was calculated using center law by a microcontroller, then to complete the design of lower limb exoskeleton system.
