Probe into the Teaching Evaluation System for Information Retrieval Course Based on PBL

The teaching evaluation of information retrieval course is the critical factor to examine students' learning results. The teaching evaluation can find timely the problems and difficulties occurring in the learning process, which isbeneficial to the teachers to teach students in accordance with their aptitude. In the light of the deficiencies of the traditional teaching evaluation approach, and connecting with the teaching practice, this paper probes into the teaching evaluation system for information retrieval course based on PBL from two aspects of the design of teaching evaluation modules and the design of indexes.
