The invention discloses a 1100-H14 aluminum alloy plate-strip and a production method thereof. The production process comprises the steps of casting, saw-cutting, face-milling, heating, hot rolling and cold rolling, wherein a cast ingot after casting comprises the following chemical components in percentage by weight: not more than 0.2% of Si, 0.30-0.60% of Fe, 0.05-0.20% of Cu, not more than 0.05% of Mn, not more than 0.05% of Mg, not more than 0.05% of Zn, 0.01-0.03% of Ti, not more than 0.02% of single impurity, not more than 0.10% of impurities and Al in balancing amount; the melting temperature is 740-760 DEG C, the refining temperature is 735-755 DEG C, the casting temperature is 685-705 DEG C, and the casting speed is 55-65 mm/min; and in the hot rolling step, hot rough rolling is adopted for cogging at the temperature of 450-500 DEG C, the finish rolling temperature is 310-330 DEG C, and the coiling thickness is 2.5-8 mm. According to the production method disclosed by the invention, the stable and qualified mechanical properties of the1100-H14 aluminum alloy plate-strip can be ensured, the production flow is shortened, and the production efficiency is improved.
