Spectral characteristics of magnetic fluid with particles of different dimensions in the terahertz frequency range

The paper presents the measurement of the signal frequency and of the absorption spectra of different materials which measured by terahertz spectrometer, to estimate of their further use as optically transparent measuring cell for THz radiation. An absorption spectrum of a measuring cell with magnetic fluid in dependent on the direction of external magnetic field is given. On the basis of the results controllable functional material is shown in the terahertz frequency range, which can be find application in polarizers or modulators of electromagnetic radiation.
