The invention relates to a method utilizing PDMDAAC modified bentonite to process oil-containing wastewater, and relates to a method for processing oil-containing wastewater. The method comprises the following steps: purifying sodium-based bentonite, preparing a modifying agent solution, then preparing PDMDAAC modified bentonite: adding a certain amount of PDMDAAC modifying agent solution into a proper amount of sodium-based bentonite, stirring for 2 hours at a room temperature, washing for two times, carrying out vacuum suction filtration, drying at a temperature of 80 DEG C, activating at a temperature of 105 DEG C, grinding, and sieving to obtain the PDMDAAC modified bentonite; adding PDMDAAC modified bentonite into oil-containing wastewater, adjusting the pH of the oil-containing wastewater to 6.5-7, adding 25 grams PDMDAAC modified bentonite for each liter of wastewater, and stirring for 10 to 25 minutes. The oil-containing water oil removing rate of the provided method can reach at least 85%, and the processed wastewater reaches the standards of GB8978-1996 and can be discharged.
