The present invention relates to a process for the polymerization of olefins. The polymerization process of the present invention is the use of a transition metal catalyst component of the catalyst, the alumoxane component and an organoaluminum component thereof. In the polymerization process of this invention, the catalyst used is an aluminoxane with less has excellent polymerization activity of the catalyst. The polymerization process of the present invention provides the use of a narrow molecular weight distribution of the obtained polymer, and, when two or more olefin comonomer, to obtain the molecular weight distribution and a narrow composition distribution olefin interpolymer.
