Objectives It is known that there are multiple factors which can affect thyroid gland development during childhood and adolescence. Our aim was to investigate this issue by examining the relationships between age, sex, several anthropometric parameters, pubertal status, thyroid function tests, and iodine intake status with thyroid volume (TV) in children and adolescents.
