TETI HARYATI. Factors Related to Learning Effectiveness of “Paket B” of PKBM Citra Pakuan Bogor. Under direction of Richard W.E. Lumintang, and Djoko Susanto. The objective of this study is to determine internal and external factors related to the effectiveness of participants’ learning of “Paket B”. The effectiveness is viewed as improvement in participants’ knowledge, skill, and attitudes. The study was carried out at a community learning center, which runs “Paket B”, as a case study. The number of sample was 31 persons random by taken from 40 persons of population who finished the “Paket B” Program. The research methods used were questionnaire survey, interview, and observation. The study shows that the socio-economic status is the internal factor that relates significantly to the learning effectiveness. The relation is negative, which means the higher the status, the lower the effectiveness. In addition, the external factors which relate to the effectiveness include: learning materials, teachers quality, learning intensity, parents’ support, and employability. All of these external variables have positive relations, which mean the higher the level of the factors, the higher the effectiveness of the learning processes.
