Crosstalk in erbium doped fibre amplifiers
1989
Signal crosstalk measurements are presented for two signals amplified in an erbium-doped optical-fibre amplifier. The crosstalk is heavily dependent upon the modulating frequency and found to be negligible at frequencies above 100 kHz. The fibre amplifier may therefore be suitable for use in multichannel optical systems. >
