AKUMULASI LOGAM Pb DAN Cu PADA BEBERAPA JENIS IKAN YANG TERTANGKAP MENGGUNAKAN GILLNET DI SEKITAR PERAIRAN TANJUNG API-API SUMATERA SELATAN

2020
Tanjung Api-Api waters are part of the South Sumatra Coastal Waters which have an important role in the fisheries sector. The fishing gear most widely used in South Sumatera is gillnet with result of catches of such as as senangin (E.tetradactylum), puput (I. elongata) and white pomfret (P. argenteus). There are transportation, agriculture and plantation activities along the river which down into the waters of Tanjung Api-Api This condition has potential to pollute the environment with a variety of pollutants, one of which is Pb and Cu heavy metal. The purpose of this study was to determine the accumulation of Pb and Cu metals and analyze the feasibility of food in fish meat caught using gillnet in Tanjung Api-Api waters. Samples of fish meat taken were E.tetradactylum, I. elongata and P. argenteus. Pb and Cu metals are analyzed based on SNI 2354.5: 2011. Pb concentration in P. argenteus fish meat ranged from 1.37 to 3.71 mg/kg (average 2.93 mg/kg), I. elongata ranged from 1.61 - 4.80 mg/kg (average 3.28 mg/kg) and P. argenteus ranges from 0.89 to 5.84 mg/kg (average 2.28 mg/kg). Cu concentration in P. argenteus fish meat ranged from 0.15 to 0.37 mg/kg (average of 0.27 mg /kg), in I. elongata ranged from 0.06 to 0.32 mg/kg (average 0.20 mg /kg) and E.tetradactylum ranged from 0.25 - 1.28 mg/kg (average 0.78 mg/kg). Based on BPOM quality standards, SNI 7387: 2009 and FAO (1983) concentrations of Pb were exceeded specified quality standards, as for Cu, the accumulation is still below the permitted limit (Directorate General of BPOM Regulation No. 03725 / B / SK / VII / 89 and FAO 1983) Keywords : Heavy Metal, Pb, Cu, Gillnet, Tanjung Api-api waters
