A process for preparing alkyne carboxylic acids and alkynecarboxylic acid-Alkinalkoholestern by oxidation of alkyne alcohols
2002
The invention describes methods for the preparation of alkyne carboxylic acids and alkynecarboxylic acid-Alkinalkoholestern, characterized by the oxidation of an alkyne alcohol with 1 to 10 mol equivalents of a hypohalite, based on the number to be oxidized functional groups in the presence of a nitroxyl compound in at a pH of less than 7, or by the partial oxidation of the alkyne alcohol with 0.5 to 5 molar equivalents of a hypohalite, based on the number of functional groups to be oxidized in the presence of a nitroxyl compound at a pH value smaller. 7
