Application of fucoidan as immunopotentiator

According to the application of fucoidan as the immunopotentiator, a mouse peritoneal macrophage RAW264.7 is used as a model, the activity of fucoidan as the immunopotentiator is determined, it is found that fucoidan can remarkably increase expression of multiple cytokines such as NO, TNF-alpha and COX-2, the mechanism is known from the gene and protein level, and fucoidan is expected to be developed into a novel immunopotentiator, particularly applied as an immunoadjuvant.
