Reaction product, lube oil composition, monÈmero, graft copolymer viscosity index enhancer of a dispersant and their production methods

"REACTION PRODUCT OF OIL LUBRICANT COMPOSITION, MONEMERO, and graft copolymer viscosity index enhancer OF A DISPERSANT AND ITS METHODS OF PRODUCTION". It describes a copolymer containing one or more graftable monomer containing nitrogen and oxygen, or aliphatic-aromatic, ethylenically unsaturated polyolefin. New monomers, such monomers and methods of producing graft copolymers comprising these monomers are based on the reaction of an acylating agent with an amine to form a reaction product. The reaction product can include more than one chemical compound formed from the combination of the acylating agent and the amine. The monomer is the compound (s) (s) contain (s) nitrogen and oxygen, or aliphatic-aromatic, ethylenically unsaturated graftable of the reaction product. The monomer may, but need not, be recovered from the product mixture. The preferred monomer is the product of reaction of maleic anhydride and 4-aminodiphenylamine. Also described is a method of producing an enhancer of a dispersant viscosity index. The monomer of the present invention may be grafted onto an olefin or fused solutions. Also described is a lubricating oil comprising a base oil and a grafted polyolefin as described above.
