Angular Momentum Effects in Coaxial Multipactor
2021
Multipactor is a resonant RF discharge of secondary electrons from metal or dielectric surfaces. In the right conditions, this electron avalanche is a catastrophic process that can distort the original signal in the transmission line 1 , produce unwanted localized heating, and even destroy the system on hand. As a result, particular attention has been dedicated to understanding this phenomenon in order to avoid or, if inevitable, suppress it or predict its effects 2 .
