A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating bone diseases comprising Dendropanax morbifera extract

The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition including a Dendropanax morbifera extract for preventing or treating a bone disease, and more particularly to use of a Dendropanax morbifera extract inhibiting the activity of receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-B ligand (RANKL), which induces maturation of osteophages, a fraction of the extract, and compounds isolated from the fraction for treating a bone disease. Since the Dendropanax morbifera extract, the fraction thereof, the compounds isolated from the fraction or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the compound, according to the present invention, inhibits differentiation of osteophages, the pharmaceutical composition including the material as an active ingredient can prevent, alleviate, or treat various bone diseases.
