Simulation Experiment and Countermeasure Control of Filamentous Dilation in Activated Sludge

Fresh domestic sewage was used as water specimen, adopting synchronous bacteria culturing method, and based on culturing activated sludge, a certain conditions were simulated to promote the growth of filamentous bacteria until filamentous dilation is formed. At the same time, controlling measurements were sought to eliminate the filamentous dilation. Analysis characterization and microscopic observation of their living features of filamentous bacteria were carried out to confirm the kinds of filamentous bacteria that form the filamentous dilation. Since the experiment is relatively close to the practical condition of the sewage treating plant, the conclusion obtained possesses a practical guidance role in normal running of aeration tank of the sewage treating plant.;
