Plasma coating method for carbon fibers, to apparatus and plasma-coated carbon fibers

Disclosed is a plasma coating step for carbon fibers, which ideally connects directly to the production of carbon fibers. Here, a carbon fiber undergoes an atmospheric pressure plasma, so that it reaches the surface of the carbon fiber from all sides. Accordingly, an apparatus is provided to it. By adding a precursor in the plasma of these can be deposited on the carbon fiber surface or attach to the carbon fiber surface. Such a plasma-coated carbon fiber has a chemically active surface.
