Reposition of Ureter Avulsed in ureteroscopy

2004
Ureteral avulsion is a rare complication of ureteroscopy that demands a surgical procedure to restore the continuity of urinary tract. The choice of surgical procedure depends on the type of injury, and an avulsion from upper ureter avulsed from upper portion and wrap it with an omentum flap in the case study of a 51-year-old male. A satisfactory outcome of this case and the simplicity of the surgical technique of reposition render it a treatment option for an avulsed ureter.
