PACSID — A software package for dynamic systems modelling, design and simulation

Abstract PACSID ia an integrated software package for dynamic systems computer aided modelling, design and simulation. All necessary interface between user's application and the package is provided by a specialized data base. Simple or complex dynamic structures can be handled by a nucleus for symbolic manipulations, which enables the user building models with any degree of complexity and also operations in order to simplify or obtain canonical forms. The simulation module is fully interactive and includes more than 10 integration methods, some of the most performant published algorithms; various graphic facilities are also provided. PACSID contains also a parametric optimizer for dynamic systems with given structure.
