The cable system comprises a main cable, a main saddle seat, a scattered saddle seat, a plurality of cable clamps fixed on the main cable and suspender cables fixed on the cable clamps, wherein the main cable comprises a wire wrapped main cable section and non-wire wrapped main cable section; the circumferential surface of the wire wrapped main cable section is provided the following protective structure from inside to outside: a zinc adding coating, an inner anti-corrosion layer formed by vulcanized high performance sealing elastic bodies, a steel wire or belt material winding layer, a zinc adding layer, a polyurethane-carbamide sealing agent layer, and a protective layer formed by an elastic polyurethane finish or elastic polysiloxane finish or elastic fluorocarbon finish. The utility model can effectively protect the main cable system of the suspension bridge for a long term, and can present excellent anti-corrosion performance of the protective structure, especially in the severe marine corrosion environment, chemical or industrial atmosphere polluted areas.
