New Model of Aconsto-optic Q-switched All-Solid-State Green Laser with Power Dissipation and Quickened Thermally Stabilization

A new type of A-O Q-switched solid-state lasers with the performance of less power dissipation and quickened thermally stabilization,has been developed.By using the special home-made double-control driver(DCD),the LD pumped solid state green laser has much better performance than that applied the normal continuous pumping driver.The electric power is saved more than 50%,the temperature rising at main parts of the laser set is dropped down more than 10 ℃,and the time taken for thermally stabilization is reduced to 22%.Pumped by a 1 W LD,the output pulses with peak power of about 1 kW and width of 14.5 ns are obtained.
