Soil is a dynamic environment where a series of ecosystem processes occur that allow the adequate development of crops on it. Soil erosion affects its productivity by altering certain properties, as well as the complex interactions between physical, chemical and biological processes that occur within the pedon due to this damage the topsoil becomes very important because of its features, however, the nature of the subsoil plays a key role for the understanding of the magnitude of the erosive process. All these variables and processes will affect the inherent capacity of the soil to resist and/or recover from the damage caused, since the nature of the interrelationship within this system generates a synergistic effect between soil properties that will be affected by erosion.
