Commissioning the DRAGON facility at ISAC
2005
Abstract The performance of the DRAGON recoil spectrometer at TRIUMF-ISAC has been studied using radiative capture reactions with stable beams of 12 C, 20 Ne, 21 Ne, 23 Na, 24 Mg and 26 Mg. Calibration of the deflection magnet measuring the beam energy was established and the beam suppression factors of the separator were investigated. Yields from six narrow resonances were measured and compared with previous results. For the 1,112.6 keV resonance in Ne 20 ( p , γ ) Na 21 our result is in disagreement with the NACRE database assignment but agrees with another previous result.
