A Comparison of Normal Girdles and Knife-Line Girdles on Thompson Seedless and Cardinal Grapes

In two of five trials, knife-line girdles were significantly less effective than normal 4.8-mm wide girdles; in the remaining trials differences were not significant. Knife-line girdles were generally intermediate in their response between no girdle and a normal 4.8-mm wide girdle.
