OC-0392 IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NEW STANDARDISED NAMING CONVENTIONS IN RADIATION THERAPY

2012
Purpose/Objective: with the development of new I techniques with large fields, as total marrow irradiatio irradiation and total lymphoid irradiation, the conto body organs at risk become time consuming. Aim o evaluate the reliability of automatic contouring atlases OARs on CT scan. Materials and Methods: three reference anatomy constructed using the data from 8, 16, and 24 patie for the atlas I, II, and III. Data set of whole body organ from entire body CT scans without contrast. For each gender of patients were equally divided. The oncologist contoured all organs. The organs drawn on (male and female) CT data set were used as sample t the results of auto-contouring atlases. The study was the commercially available software (MIM, version Cleveland, OH). Results: The atlas-based segmentation was evaluated the male sample and three times for the female one were added each time in the atlas library (I, II and I contouring improvement. The results of auto-co compared with ones hand-drawn calculating DICE coeff
