Corrosion resistance of deep drawing sheet steel

1. With increasing numbers of nonmetallic inclusions, the corrosion resistance of steels 08Yu, 20YuT, and 08GSYuT decreases. 2. The corrosion resistance of the steels tested is highest for steel 08Yu after hot rolling. This treatment can be recommended to improve the corrosion resistance of sheet steels. 3. As the plastic deformation increases in the course of cold stamping, the corrosion resistance of cold-rolled steel 08Yu decreases.
