PERFIL PSICOPATOLÓGICO DE UNA POBLACIÓN CLÍNICA ADULTA

2007
The studied sample was conformed by 60 subjects (48 females and 12 males) between the ages of 18 and 74 who came to a Psychological Center for Initial Care, in Montevideo, anytime between the years 2004 and 2005. All subjects were evaluated using the SCL-90-R, the BDI and the MCMI-III. Some socio-demographic information such as marital status, family conformation and medical insurance was collected as well as the reason of consultation. The results of the Psychopathological Profile show that the Depression and Anxiety Dimensions prevail over the rest, either as a symptomatic agrupation or as a disorder. The comparative results of the three tests allow us to state that there is a meaningful correlation (at 1-5% significant levels) between the different scales that make the SCL-90-R, the BDI and the MCMI-III.
