Research on Strata Visualization Algorithm Based on Borehole

In order to solve the massive geological information visualization and better understand the structure and relationship of information, it can provides better information support for geological exploration and urban construction and informatization. This paper provides a solution of stratum visualization based on borehole. It mainly studies the functions of stratum generation, texture filling, logging curves and contour lines, and systematically studies and improves a variety of algorithms, including DDA straight line generation algorithm, polygon search algorithm, automatic stratum generation algorithm, stratum Color and picture filling algorithm etc. It applies the drilling data of the new campus of Tianjin Tianshi College as the data source, using SQLServer2005 and VC++6.0 as system development platform, and combining MFC, STL and ADO technologies to realize system data encapsulation and access. Finally it realized the automatic generation and color of the stratum, the two-dimensional expression function of geological symbols such as geological information storage and access, texture filling, logging curves, topographic maps and contour lines, It provides a good technical interface and foundation for 3D visualization of geological information.
