Enfermedad diverticular fistulizada

SUMMARY A retrospective study of 14 patients operated on with a diagnosis of fistulized diverticular disease of the large intestine was done. The clinical picture, medical assessment, type of surgery and criteria to solve this condition in one stage, were analyzed. Morbidity was 35%, with 4 surgical complications and one medical complication. There was no mortality. Definitive cure was achieved in 12 of 14 patients (85%).
