Removal of oxygen from praseodymium by calcium vapour
1993
Abstract The removal of oxygen from solid prascodymium by calcium vapour was investigated. The oxygen content could be reduced to less than 200 mass-ppm from an initial content of about 2000 mass-ppm. It was concluded necessary to eliminate the unfavourable effect of diffusion of Ca atoms into the prascodymium specimen.
