Special features of liquid-phase sintering of molybdenum-copper pseudoalloys with biporous structure

1987
The authors examine the effects of liquid phase sintering of molybdenum-copper intermetallic alloys on pore size and permeability. The aim of their study is to assess the suitability of the such alloys as porous materials for the efficient supply of gases to high-temperature gas generators or for transpiration cooling systems. The metallurgical effects of various quantities of copper against molybdenum are reported.
