Residual field in synchrotron superconducting magnets

A method is proposed for the calculation of the residual fields in the superconducting magnets of the synchrotron, taking into account the distribution of the intensity of the magnetic field within the windings of the superconducting magnet. The results of the calculation of the residual field in the median plane of the working area are reported for three variants of the magnets and a comparison is made with experimental data. (tr-auth)
