The present invention relates to a structure and a method of manufacturing an array substrate for a liquid crystal display device designed to repair the data line open defect, and more particularly, minimizing the arm (暗) lighting of pixels on the array substrate for a liquid crystal display device. The present invention is to design the common line, the first vertical line and a second vertical line and the first and second vertical lines are configured to both sides around the data line, the first horizontal line and a second connecting under horizontal line and is extended in the pixel area neighboring characterized by consisting of a third horizontal line connected to the second vertical line. With this configuration, the data line is open in the process of repairing them, the first and second horizontal lines and the first vertical line only being used to repair the wiring, wherein the first and second horizontal lines above the cut isolated from the second vertical line has been linked to the third horizontal line, and can be applied to the common signal. Therefore, there is an advantage to minimize the image degradation because the common line is the difference between the common signal can be minimized, which is applied between the pixel region and the normal pixel region using the repair line.
