Avaliação da qualidade da assistência hospitalar do mix público-privado do sistema único de saúde no estado de Mato grosso: um estudo multicaso Evaluation of the quality of hospital care in public-private mix of Public Health System in Mato Grosso: a multicase study

One of the great challenges of the Public Health System (SUS) in relation to hospital care has been improving the quality of services. Faced with this challenge, this study proposes to evaluate the quality of structure and processes consist of ten public hospitals administered directly, managed by Organizacao Social da Saude (OSS) public, private and philanthropic distributed in three health regions in the state of Mato Grosso. The research is classifi ed as a descriptive multi case study with a quantitative approach, which had data collected during the fihalf of 2012, using the instrument as a checklist for assessing compliance with compliance standards of the National Evaluation of Health Services (PNASS). The results showed that hospitals that have better structure and process are administered by public and philanthropic OSS, whereas in all analyzes these two forms of management are highlighted. On the other hand, the public hospitals of direct administration and the private ones appear in virtually all analyzes among those who got the worst grades. A limitation of the study was the diffi culty of fi nding other jobs that have used the same instrument to facilitate the comparison of results and discussion. palavras-chave Gestao hospitalar Avaliacao em saude Qualidade da assistencia a saude
