SOP Independent Self-Homodyne Detection of Polarization Multiplexed QPSK Signal with AQPM Pilot Carrier

State-of-Polarization independent self-homodyne detection of polarization multiplexed QPSK signal with alternately quadrature phase modulated pilot carrier is proposed by introducing polarization diversity receiver. The scheme suppresses EVM variation due to SOP less than 5 %.
