ANALYSIS OF RFX PLASMA EQUILIBRIUM WITH FEEDBACK CONTROL

The paper describes the main features of the feedback control system proposed for the RFX poloidal field circuit. The synthesis of the system and the analysis of its performances have been based on a full electromagnetic model of the machine. The responses of the system to sudden disturbances are presented and the behaviour with a more resistive shell is discussed.
