ДІАГНОСТИЧНА ТА ХІРУРГІЧНА ТАКТИКА ПРИ ЦЕРВІКОТОРАКАЛЬНИХ ПОРАНЕННЯХ

The results of diagnostics and surgical treatment of 123 victims of cervicothoracic wounds (CTW) are presented. In most observations, wounds were located in the I zone of the neck, very rarely (2.8%) – high in zone III. The combination of incoming wounds on the neck with the findings of X–ray and ultrasound investigations changes in pleural cavities or mediastinum allowed to diagnose CTW. Complications arose in 43.6% of the victims, of which 41.2% – purulent–septic.
