A novel metal fluoride promoted metal oxide catalyst system for methane and light alkane (C2-C4) conversion in presence of oxygen

In this paper, a novel series of metal-fluoride promotes metal-oxide (fluoride) catalysts with good stability and good to excellent catalytic performance of MOC and oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane, propane and isobutane are reported. Some new experimental evidences for the catalytic activity and selectivity in relation to catalyst composition, structure and oxygen adspecies are also presented.
