Extensive Air Showers Associated with Discrete Astrophysical Sources

This review deals with the ultrahigh energy range of gamma-ray astronomy and emphasizes methods for statistical analysis of the data. In addition we devote considerable attention to a description of some scenarios for acceleration of the beams and production of signals. (AIP)
