Synthesis of ultra-long β-AgVO3 nanoribbon bundles and measurement of their conductivity
2007
Abstract Large-scale, high-purity and uniform β-AgVO 3 nanoribbon bundles were prepared. These bundles were single-crystalline with length up to hundreds of micrometers. X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy were employed to characterize the morphology and structure of the as-prepared products. The conductivity of a single nanoribbon was determined as 2.8 × 10 − 3 S cm − 1 at room temperature, which was higher than the reported values of silver ionic conductor compounds.
