Development of a large scale baboon breeding program.

: A unique 6-acre corral facility and defined program for large-scale breeding of baboons, Papio sp, was developed. The colony produced approximatley 200 infants, with known biological characteristics, per year. This program served as a national resource, and provided domestically reared animals for biomedical research investigators in the United States.
