Interpolation perturbation method for solving the positively damped strongly nonlinear free oscillation problems

In this paper, using the interpolation method allying with the method of weighted residuals, the first order approximate solutions of a class of the positively damped strongly nonlinear problems are obtained. Its accuracy is good.
