Recent records of the bramble shark, Echinorhinus brucus (Chondrichthyes: Echinorhinidae), from the Sea of Marmara

We report on the recent captures of the bramble shark, Echinorhinus brucus , from the Sea of Marmara, Turkey. A short description is given. Based on available data, current status of the species in the Sea of Marmara is discussed.
