Delayed fission of the products of interaction of 1200-MeV electrons with bismuth nuclei

1986
The work reported in the present article was undertaken to search for fragment activity of short-lived products of the interaction of electrons of energy 1200 and 700 MeV with bismuth nuclei. Delayed fission was observed at electron energy 1200 MeV. This is explained as arising from the fission of heavy hypernuclei. (AIP)
