A Review of International Perspectives on Intimate Partner Violence

In this final chapter of the brief, we highlight some of the unique findings from comparing chapters written about intimate partner violence (IPV) around the world. Although there were many similarities throughout countries, we did identify some unique challenges faced in certain countries, unique resources that could provide helpful ideas to other countries, and variability in the legal protections for victims and the definition of IPV. Ultimately, we want to highlight that advocacy work continues throughout all countries, and continued legislative efforts are present.
