Percepção do discente de enfermagem na construção do seu conhecimento no contexto da metodologia ativa

Objective: To understand the perceptions of nursing students about the process of constructing their learning in the pedagogical context of the active methodology. Method: Qualitative research, descriptive and exploratory. Fifty students from the second and final year of the undergraduate nursing course were interviewed. The data collection was based on the application of a questionnaire that addressed questions about the process of building their knowledge and evolution of their autonomy against the use of the active methodology. The empirical material was analyzed by the technique of content analysis, thematic modality. Results: The formation of two categories emerged: Active methodology in the construction of autonomous subjects and; Potentialities and challenges of the active methodology. Conclusions: The nursing students perceived that the use of the active methodology in the professional training helps positively in the development and construction of knowledge, making the subjects active, critical and reflexive and with greater autonomy in the construction of their knowledge.
