Effect of blockade of transdiaphragmatic absorption of bacteria on survival in peritonitis: an experimental study in rats.

An experimental rat model of established peritonitis was used to test the effect of intraperitoneal injection of platelet rich plasma (PRP) on blood and peritoneal fluid culture positivity and survival rates.
