Species diversity of mountain meadow of lishan and the relation with the soil physicochemical properties

2004
Using 12 diversity indices, the species diversity of Mountain Meadow was studied. It showed that the richness and heterogeneous indices were increased with the decrease of grazing intensity. Some results were concluded about the relationship between species diversity and soil environmental factors, such as organic matter, N and K. In the analysis of community diversity, it was obtained that Cu and K were two main influencing factors, the content of which increased with the increasing of the diversity, so the soil nutrient was helpful to increase the diversity. But the organic matter and N had negative effect on the diversity, which was different from former research. It was human disturbance that made the diversity indices decrease in spite of the high content of organic matter and N. So the human disturbance and soil factors were the factors influencing the species diversity in this research field, of which human disturbance was the main one. Fig 3, Tab 3, Ref 15
