This research is aimed to know the types of parasitic Nematode worms that infested gastrointestinal tract of hunting dogs (Ca nis familiaris) in the Subdistrict of Lareh Sago Halaban, West Sumatera. This research used as many as 70 samples of stool from male hunting dogs. This study used centrifuge method to identify nematode worms eggs and Mc.Master method to calculate egg per gram. The r esults shows that, from 70 hunting dogs in Subdistrict Lareh Sago Halaban West Sumatera many as 40 hunting dogs (57.14%) were positive with gastrointestinal nematode worm egg with a single type of infection by Ancylostoma spp. Uncinaria spp. and Toxocara spp. double infection by Ancylostoma spp. and Uncinaria spp. as well as the Ancylostoma spp. and Toxocara spp., and multiple infections by all three worms and 30 hunting dogs (42,85%) were not infested. From 40 infested dogs, none were infested heavily, 3 dogs with medium and the res t of dogs were infested mildly.
